By downloading, installing, or using the DeCaf app ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the App.

Description of Service

DeCaf is a personal health and wellness tool that allows you to track caffeine consumption, visualize caffeine metabolism, set intake goals, and create taper plans. The App is provided for informational purposes only and is not a substitute for professional medical advice.

Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the App. By using the App, you represent and warrant that you meet this requirement.

Account Registration

  • You may need to create an account to use certain features of the App.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.

Acceptable Use

Health Disclaimer

The App provides general information about caffeine intake and metabolism. It is not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any medical condition. The caffeine metabolism calculations are estimates based on a standard 5-hour half-life model and may not accurately reflect your individual metabolism. Always consult a qualified healthcare professional before making changes to your caffeine consumption, especially if you have any health conditions or are taking medication.

Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, code, content, and branding, is owned by DeCaf and protected by intellectual property laws. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.

User Data

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You retain ownership of the data you enter into the App. By using the App, you grant us a limited license to process your data solely to provide and improve the service.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the App at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. Upon termination, your right to use the App will immediately cease. You may delete your account and data at any time through the App.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, DeCaf and its developers shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the App. The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
